Overview

Highlights

Port Noarlunga is a picturesque seaside village located approximately 30 kilometres south of Adelaide, perfect for swimning, kayaking, snorkelling and diving. The red sandstone beach cliffs, long jetty and reef, make it one of the iconic diving destinations in the state. The off-shore Port Noarlunga Reef and aquatic reserve forms part of the Encounter Marine Park - a divers and snorkelers paradise and also viewable from the end of the jetty. The reef is home to more than 200 species of marine plants, which the fish love too and can be further discovered by the self guided Aquatic Trail for divers.

The safe swimming beach is patrolled by the Port Noarlunga Surf Lifesaving Club over the warmer months and also forms part of the Mid Coast regional surfing reserve - Australia's first! When seeking a break from the beach for lunch or snacks, there are great eateries from bustling Becs Bakehouse to casual dining at Agatha's Kitchen or beachside at Hortas. The main street oozes charm with enchanting shops filled with fashion, unique gifts and homewares, all just waiting to be explored.
