Highlights

Trowutta Arch was formed by the collapse of a cave. The roof fell in leaving a section between two sink holes. The site is not well known and the short walk to the site is through spectacular rainforest.

  • Weather conditions in Tasmania can change quickly and frequently, especially in alpine areas. Snow, rain, wind and sun are all possible at any time of the year, and bushfires can occur between October and March.
