Zoe Falls is a must-see natural bucket list attraction located along the iconic Thorsborne Trail on Hinchinbrook Island, off the Coast of Queensland, Australia. South Zoe Bay camping ground is located right at the mouth of South Zoe Creek on spectacular Zoe Bay. This camping area is the epitome of a tropical island paradise. Tuck yourself in under the thick canopy and take in the spell-binding ocean views from your tent, or grab a towel and head up the track to the stunning Zoe Falls.
From the rock face high above, water cascades over cliffs and ledges, gathering in pools, making its way around obstacles before the final plunge into the impossibly blue pool below. Slip into the pool and wash away the dust and salt of the day.
This island park is part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, famed for its superlative natural beauty, outstanding examples of reef ecosystem development, evolutionary history and amazing diversity.

- Swimming near or under waterfalls can be dangerous due to strong currents, submerged hidden rock ledges and other dangers. The force of a waterfall can be incredibly strong and unfortunately, many people have drowned. Follow warning signs and take caution.
- Wear suitable footwear and ensure to wear appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the elements when outside exploring.
- Plan ahead and ensure to take enough food, fuel and water for your journey.
- Always stay on the marked tracks where possible. Never climb fences, they are there for your own safety.
- Please consider the environment, take your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided. We want to ensure these beautiful places are still here for our future generations to enjoy.
- Ensure to let a responsible adult know of your plans and report back into them once you have finished exploring for the day.
